Depending on your country and location, these recommendations may be fully implemented or you may find that there are areas of care that could benefit from implementing these recommendations. These guidelines have been developed to reduce maternal and newborn mortality, morbidity and improve care for women and their families to create a positive intrapartum and postnatal experience.
